Al Bragg's Flying Motorcycle
"the flite bike"
This machine was introduced at the roadable aircraft forum of "airventure 2001" at Oshkosh by Al Bragg from Alexandria, Virginia . The vehicle is a flyable motorcycle. It is built by combining a Honda 2001 "reflex" motorcycle with a "buckeye" Ram Air Wing. In flight mode the machine is powered by a 582 Rotax aircraft engine using a four blade propeller. The customer is expected to buy his motorcycle from his local Honda dealer, then purchase a "flite pak" kit to go with it. The kit consists of a custom frame for the Honda, the Buckeye chute, the Rotax Engine, and the propeller. Assembly is extra.
The Flite Bike is reviewed at the following sites -
