Motopod

Does this look to you like a flying motorcycle? You think not? It looks more like an airplane, perhaps maybe a 'Van' RV-10.

Quite so, but read on. You notice that there is something different about this particular aircraft? It's that module slung under the fuselage between the main wheels of the landing gear. It's a storage pod of some sort. We bet you have already guessed what's in it.

Yes, if you lower the pod and look inside, there it is, a perfectly usable motorcycle.

Just remove it from the pod, straighten the handlebars and attach the front wheel. Tighten a few bolts and you are on your way. Suddenly, for people flying an aircraft fitted with a Motopod, all the airports on the North American continent have land transportation available, not just the few, which is about one-third of the airports where you can land a private aircraft.

What a marvelous idea ! !
