For over 50 years Paul Moller has been involved in the creation of the "Skycar". He and his organization,
Moller International, set out to develop a feasible, personally affordable, vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) vehicle. They did this
in the belief that it was just a matter of time before the world would demand some kind of flying machine that would replace the automobile.
Their primary goals were to build a machine that would be capable of vertical take-off and landing, be easy to maintain, be cost effective and
be reliable. A series of designs and models have been developed and tested over the years. Work on this series still continues
at their plant in Davis, CA.
