The "PAM 100 B" flying platform is built by Performance Aviation Mfg. It is called an Individual Lifting Vehicle (ILV) and is intended to allow anybody to have their own personal flying vehicle in the backyard or garage. The company says the vehicle can soar over trees and houses and requires pilot skills comparable to those needed to ride a motor bike. Control of the ILV is obtained by simply having the pilot shift his body weight. It is intended to develop the aircraft as a kit for sale in the United States.
